This workwear jacket is inspired by a “Log cabin” quilt, circa 1890s. The log cabin quilt is a quintessential american quilt pattern that rose to popularity in the latter half of the 19th century. The multi-color quilt was first recorded in 1869, but the pattern was seen much earlier on both sides of the atlantic.
